Founder and designer, Kay Cohen, created Pleasure State in 2004, with 20 years experience in lingerie design and a dream as the sole inspiration for the brand. Her vision to design fashion lingerie that merged trendsetting styles with the perfect fit and comfort was driven by her desire to explore new realms of possibilities for intimate apparel. Discovering the latest in fabric and design technology and innovation that would provide the fit, support and comfort she wanted to integrate into her designs and engaging with the changing trends in high fashion couture, Kay began designing an eclectic and cosmopolitan ultra-luxe collection for the discerning woman.

These beautiful new stories from Pleasure State take their inspiration from the exotic East and are truly exquisite concoctions of sheer, delicate fabrics, divine lace, crystal embellishments and sumptuous satins.

The alluring Shangai Red of the Lantern Story is worked into gorgeous thong or midi brief, push-up balconnet bra and an amazing teddy using French Leavers lace and Italian stretch woven satin with Swarovski crystals while the Bouquet top and brief are soft pink and black delights in stretch silk satin with a delicate original French floral print trimmed with scalloped lace and crystals.

Samurai and Kimono are Japanese-inspired stories combining traditional black and ivory or black and red (Kimono varies the black and ivory combination with the option of black and magenta for the thong and brazilian bottoms).

Samurai uses European microfibre mesh trimmed with Italian woven satin and incorporating sequined scalloped edging and includes a totally feminine suspender belt while the Kimono story takes luxurious oriental rose quilting onto woven satin to create the exquisite and exotic Kimono Robe.

Isis and Oriental Pearl work sheer and sultry to perfection. The Isis Corset in stretch jacquard with diamond effect trimmed with peek-a-boo lace is luxe all the way and will really set hearts racing with the ultra-feminine Isis Garter!
